Las Vegas, Nevada: Allied Pedestal Boom Systems, LLC (Allied PBS) enjoyed a week of big crowds at the tri-annual mining, construction and aggregate conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After purchasing the pedestal division from Allied Construction Products last March, David Price Metal Services launched Allied Pedestal Boom Systems, LLC. The 2017 ConExpo/ConAgg was the first opportunity for the new company to strengthen the brand. The Expo did not disappoint.
Chris Price, President of Allied PBS, was enthusiastic about the response. “It was a successful week. We wrote a record number of quotes for our boom systems and received a very strong response to our display. I was very pleased.” In the weeks following the event, quotes and sales continued to spike for Allied PBS.
With the continuing technological features of the Internet, there is some doubt whether trade shows are worth the time and energy expended for the return. But buyers still want to view the products first hand, and meet system representatives face to face.
“3D models and real time meetings are great, but what sets us apart is our commitment to quality, service and support. The best way to prove such is not with bells and whistles on a computer screen but a firm handshake. “The vehicles to attract new customers may be changing,” Sales Representative Chris Cadnum said after returning to Ohio, “But the foundation is still the same. Thanks to ConExpo this year, we were able to showcase Allied PBS to a huge population of interested buyers.”
